This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 5 PM–1 AM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (607) 339-8981. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, khousekaraoke.com.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 376 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded restaurants in Ithaca.
Ithaca is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ithaca follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place is super fun, especially if you want to sing karaoke! They have a full bar that also includes a big selection of beers, soju, and snacks from south east Asia! I love that they kept a lot of the fundamentals and community from The Watershed (the spaces former occupant). They also have food from Farm to Feast during the day, which I haven't tried yet, but look forward too! So stop in, get a bag of Calbee crisps and an Asahi and sing your favorite songs in front of people!

Great place to chill out with friends but the drinks could be better. I ordered their version of an old fashioned and the bartender added tap water to the drink to “dilute the oils they use for the drink” (which of course I didn’t ask for it and was totally uncalled for). When I went to him with the complaint that the drink tasted like tap water, his response was “that’s how we make it here” and wasn’t willing to make it again, which honestly, I found disrespectful and rude. I paid $18 for a drink that I didn’t like AT ALL and he just wasn’t willing to help with that.

Everything about this place, I dig it all. The food blew my mind, the owner and her vision are magnetic, the staff are friendly and generous and helpful. And I heard a rumor they are going to start hosting some of the coolest music and dance events for families ever to be seen in ithaca, just sayin…

It’s a nice place, but it’s not somewhere I would like to visit again. I don’t know what’s going on with places in Ithaca- prices are high, there’s mandatory service (tips) already included in your bill, and then they still ask for additional tips when you insert your card into the machine. If you’re not paying attention, you could easily end up paying almost 40% more just in tips. I also noticed that the drinks seem to be made with cheaper liquors. A simple beer costs $7 per pint, and after taxes and tips, you’re probably paying close to $10 for one beer. (I’ve had a beer in NYC for less than that.) It’s definitely becoming harder to go out downtown, which might explain why fewer people are going out and why so many places are closing.

I was super excited to check this karaoke bar out!!! I heard nothing but great things!!! When I arrived the person at the door was friendly, informative and had a great attitude! The bar tenders were also friendly and made awesome drinks! But that was the end of the positives… in their new space the acoustics were terrible!!! When you were on stage the music was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself sing. There was 2 mics available and 1 was so bad I felt like I had to shove it down my throat for it to even pick up my voice. To sign up to sing it was all done on the phone, which was alright however there was no announcer to let you know who was next and it would just start playing the next persons song without warning. Causing many people (including myself) to miss the intro of their song… I will not be going back to Khouse to sing until they make some updates. Unfortunately this new location for them is not working.
